A SIMPLE BATHROOM
Isn’t she lovely? Hands down one of my favourite spaces in our home. Between the rookie tile job I stayed up till 3 am to finish and the massive tub, I love walking into here. Sadly, this is all coming to and end. Once again, kids take over the house. For us, this works great, but when I look into the future and see teenagers carelessly splashing water around, all I see is the floor rotting and ending up in the crawl space. Bathrooms seem like an easy quick fix and most times they are, if it’s just hardware and paint. This project however, won’t be cheap. I think it’s important to mention this is our only bathroom and with that, it needs to be as functional as possible.
Well what’s the plan Stan?! Honestly I have no idea. I lied, I have a few ideas but with such a small space we have to seek out some custom pieces - $$$. Now, I’m not going to revisit the idea of ever redoing this room again so when it comes time, everything will be done properly. You can patiently wait with me until it’s time.
