A look at our recent photoshoot with Ashlee Nadine Photography.

First of all, I have to brag that Ashlee is my sister - I know, I am dang lucky. Over the years she has captured my most treasured memories on camera and she does it in a way that is so real and raw. Each image is filled with emotion allowing me to go back in time and feel it all again.

I honestly do not know how she does it - each photoshoot we have had I always think, “There is no friggen way there is one good photo from that”, and each time she proves me so wrong. I don’t know how she does it you guys, it mind boggles me.

When I look back at James’ “Fresh 48” sessions its like climbing into a time machine; I am right back in that hospital room with a fresh little potato in my arms. Money can’t buy that feeling.

Anyways, if you are looking for a sign to get your family photos done - this is it.

I will never miss a single year because these photos aren’t just for Darren and I, they are for James and many generations after that.
