WELCOME to my HOME
It might not look like much, but since I’ve owned my home for the last nine years, it has gone through a lot. First off, I bought this home when I was nineteen and when handed the keys, I walked in with a sledgehammer. We took everything down to studs and dirt. Being young and on a budget, I had to make some things work at the time but I knew I wanted to prioritize a few elements. Hardwood flooring (made locally down the road), a custom kitchen and white walls that had texture.
Recently, I decided we needed to add onto our current square footage and “bumped” out the back of our home. Babies were on my mind and I knew we needed the space. Fun fact, I “bumped out” soon after the project was completed. By doing this, we added another bedroom and proper entryway. The second best part is the entry way because it now has a blaze king wood stove and we no longer have to watch tv wearing a toque. The first best part is, you guessed it, our little baby boy gets to occupy one of those rooms.
We are slowly but surely shaping the inside to meet my creative vision, follow along our journey!
